Abstract
Community activities or activities require facilities and infrastructure to support the activities carried out. Activities on roads that cause congestion or a decrease in vehicle speed, for example trading activities, pedestrians, tourist attractions, construction development, and so on. This study aims to [1] Analyze the Traffic Impact of the Underground Channel Development Jl. Sulawesi and Sidewalk Jl. Nusantara and [2] Analyzing the performance of the road segment due to the construction of the Jl. Sulawesi and Sidewalk Jl. Archipelago. Based on the results of the calculation analysis shows that [1] the highest degree of saturation of the three days of observation is on the southern approach, namely Jl. Nusantara is an average of 0.775, the degree of saturation in the East approach, namely the Student Army road, is on average 0.704 and the North Approach, Nusantara Road is an average of 0.548. This condition means that the value of the degree of saturation is still below the 0.8 indicated by MKJI and [2] the service performance of existing roads along the section around the study area and study location is still quite good. This is indicated by the value of the degree of saturation (DK) of the road sections which are still below the value of 0.75 and for the JL section. Sulawesi has a DS value > 0.75 which is the threshold value between good and bad road service performance based on the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. Keywords: Capacity, Channel, Intersection, Sidewalk
