Abstract

ABSTRAK ANDRA AUDINA PUTRI. Standardisasi ekstrak etanol buah dengen (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) (dibimbing oleh Virsa Handayani dan Selpida Handayani) Dengen (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) merupakan tumbuhan endemik yang tumbuh liar di Sulawesi, Buahnya memiliki beberapa manfaat salah satunya sebagai obat sariawan karena memiliki kadar vitamin C tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menentukan nilai parameter spesifik dan non spesifik ekstrak buah dengen (Dillenia serrata Thumb.). Sampel diperoleh dari Kecamatan Malili, Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dimaserasi dengan etanol 96% sebanyak 3 L kemudian dilakukan pengujian parameter spesifik dan non spesifik. Penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak buah dengen (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) memberikan hasil sesuai parameter standar umum ekstrak tumbuhan obat dengan nilai parameter spesifik sebagai berikut: ekstrak berbentuk kental, berwarna coklat pekat kehitaman, berbau khas; kadar senyawa larut dalam air yakni 16,0384%; kadar senyawa larut dalam etanol yakni 16,9811%; positif mengandung senyawa alkaloid, polifenol, flavanoid, terpenoid dan saponin; dan nilai parameter non spesifik sebagai berikut: susut pengeringan yakni 0,0615%; bobot jenis yakni 0,8503 gram; kadar air yakni 3,8052%; kadar abu total yakni 5,0599%, kadar abu tidak larut dalam asam yakni 0,4807%; Angka Lempeng Total (ALT) bakteri yakni < 1,0 x 10 koloni/g, Angka Kapang yakni < 4,0 x 10' koloni/g dan Khamir yakni < 1,0 x 10 koloni/g; cemaran logam timbal (Pb) yakni 0,0039 µg/g dan kadmium (Cd) yakni 0,08 µg/g. Standardization of dengen fruit ethanol extract (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) (supervised by Virsa Handayani and Selpida Handayani) Dengen (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) is an endemic plant that grows wild in Sulawesi, The fruit has several benefits, one of which is as a canker sore remedy because it has high levels of vitamin C. This study aims to identify and determine the values of specific and non-specific parameters of dengen fruit extract (Dillenia serrata Thumb.). Samples were obtained from Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province, macerated with 3 L of 96% ethanol, then tested for specific and non-specific parameters. The research showed that dengen fruit extract (Dillenia serrata Thumb.) gave results according to the general standard parameters of medicinal plant extracts with specific parameter values as follows: the extract is viscous, dark brown in color, has a characteristic odor, water-soluble compound content, namely 16.0384%; the content of soluble compounds in ethanol is 16.9811%; positive for alkaloids, polyphenols, flavanoids, terpenoids and saponins; and non-specific parameter values as follows: drying shrinkage, namely 0.0615%; specific gravity of 0.8503 grams; water content, namely 3.8052%; the total ash content is 5.0599%, the acid insoluble ash content is 0.4807%; Bacterial Total Plate Number (ALT) is < 1.0 x 101 colonies/g, Mold Number is < 4.0 x 101 colonies/g and Yeast is < 1.0 x 101 colonies/g; Lead (Pb) contamination is 0.0039 µg/g and cadmium (Cd) is 0.08 µg/g.
