Perlindungan Konsumen terhadap Kebijakan Kartu Toll Elektronik

Highways are solutions and innovations that are developed so that people get facilities in driving that are more in line with expectations. Highway construction is an acceleration of a community goal to immediately enjoy its facilities and services, by it to get all the advantages contained in highway utilization, users must carry out their obligations in order to obtain rights, particularly in the use of electronic highway cards. This article analyzes the achievements of legal protection for consumers of e-toll road users. The research method of this article uses a normative legal research type. The results of this study describe that technology to build smart steps in utilizing toll roads can shorten service time and build creativity in services. Legal protection secures the objectives of the legal actions of highway administrators and users, through Government Regulations and Presidential Regulations. The implementation of Government and Presidential Regulations related to the highway in addition to further shortening distances, the use of technology also shortens travel time to destination areas because of the use of e-tolls amid an increasing number of vehicles. However, the new regulations have not been able to fully fulfil the rights of consumers as they need to be fully realized, and are contained in consumer protection laws.
