FORMULASI SEDIAAN TABLET HISAP EKSTRAK DAUN MIANA (Coleus scutellarioides L)
Abstrak
ZULFIAH HARIS. Formulasi Sediaan Tablet Hisap Ekstrak Daun Miana (Coleus scutellarioides L).
Daun miana (Coleus scutellarioides L) secara empiris digunakan sebagai obat untuk batuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan menjadi sebuah formula tablet hisap yang stabil secara farmasetik. Ekstraksi daun miana dilakukan dengan maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Ekstrak daun miana digunakan sebagai zat aktif pada formulasi dengan tiga jenis formula tablet. Variasi pengikat formula I,II dan III berturut-turut (PVP 4%), (PVP 2% dan Gom arab 2%), dan (Gom arab 4%). Hasil evaluasi granul dan evaluasi tablet didapatkan bahwa semua formula memiliki karakteristik yang baik secara farmasetik berdasarkan parameter evaluasi yang telah dilakukan.

ABSTRACT
ZULFIAH HARIS. Lozenge Formulation from Painted Nettle (Coleus
scutellarioides L) Leaf Extracts
Empirically, painted nettle leaves (Coleus scutellarioides L) have
been utilised to treat cough. This research aimed to develop painted nettle
leaves into a pharmacologically stable lozenge formula. To start with, the
study conducted the leaf extraction by maceration using 96% ethanol. Next,
the extract was applied as an active substance in formulations with three
types of tablet formulas. The binder variations for Formula I, II, and III were
(PVP 4%), (PVP 2% and Gum arabic 2%), and (Gum arabic 4%),
respectively. The results of granule evaluation and tablet evaluation found
that all formulas have pharmacologically indicated good characteristics
based on the evaluation parameters carried out.
